Our little story in the making…

Sweet Oaks Retrievers has long been a dream of mine. As most of you know I have an out of this world love for all animals, especially my dogs and horses. These animals are amazing creatures that our Father in Heaven knew we needed. I have been blessed with some of the best. One in particular my SweetPie aka Oakley. We had a connection like no other and did anything and everything together. She was my best friend. My kids used to tell me “Mom we know you love SweetPie more than us because she always gets the front seat!” And while they were wrong they weren’t far from the truth as I loved her and still do just as much. She was so smart and I swear that girl could read my mind! She always lead the trail but would turn to make sure I was close behind. I’m sure she is waiting behind those pearly gates for me to one day catch up to her. Her sudden and tragic passing was devastating to me and our family. But we know someday we will be united again. She was the inspiration for our name and purpose. We want to raise family loved puppies for all to enjoy.

I know how much love, comfort and joy they can bring to families. They enrich our lives so much and teach us the most important lessons about unconditional love. Our little logo is fittingly our SweetPie’s paw print. I want to thank everyone so much for following our page and supporting our family in our desire to raise happy, healthy and loved puppies for more families to hold dear.
